Characteristics of intrabank payments

  • they allow cashless transfer of funds in foreign currency between the accounts of clients of Komerční banka Slovakia,

  • intrabank payments are implemented free of charge,

  • for cashless transfers of funds in EUR between the accounts of clients of Komerční banka Slovakia, see SEPA payments.

Intrabank payments are provided in the following forms:

  • outgoing and incoming payments in foreign currency based on orders for payment with conversion and without conversion between the accounts of clients of Komerční banka Slovakia, whereas the accounts of the payer and beneficiary may be in any currency,

  • payments based on orders for collection (direct debit) without conversion in foreign currency between the accounts of clients of Komerční banka Slovakia.

Uses of intrabank payments:  ​

  • Execution of orders for payment and collection:

    • Orders for payments between the accounts of clients of Komerční banka Slovakia entered in a foreign currency (with or without conversion),

    • Collection from accounts of clients of Komerční banka Slovakia may be executed based on an order for collection (direct debit) in foreign currency (without conversion) entered by a beneficiary (creditor) with an account in Komerční banka Slovakia.

  • Execution of standing orders:

    • Standing orders for intrabank payments in Komerční banka Slovakia can only be established accounts in a foreign currency. If conversion is required, at least one of the accounts must be in EUR.

  • Execution of standing orders for automatic transfers:

Standing orders for the automatic transfer of funds between accounts in Komerční banka Slovakia can only be established for accounts in the same foreign currency. 

 

 

Orders can be submitted in the following formats

  • single payment orders,

  • batch payment orders,

  • collection (direct debit) orders,

  • standing orders for payment,

  • standing orders for automatic transfers:

    • Standing orders for automatic transfers are used to transfer funds in variable amounts with the following conditions:

      • excess balances without a set date,

      • excess balances with a set date,

      • maintaining a minimum balance,

  • permitted collection (direct debit):

    • Permission for collection must specify the account number of the beneficiary (creditor) permitted to draw funds by cashless transfer from the client’s account,

    • Limits must be set for individual collection operations and the minimum number of days between collections.
